Scott Norwood: Welcome to Nepal

I'm trying to take Hank Morgan's advice and acclimatize to life in a South Asian office...

but there was a goat outside my office today. Not milling around in the street, but tied up near the motorcycles. I decided to take a picture of it later, because I thought people might have trouble believing my stories of various animals on the way to work. When I went downstairs, it was gone.

Later in the day, I hear some banging from the roof kitchen. I go upstairs, and there are piles of meat lying on the table. I ask: "Tyo ke ho?" (what is that?).

It's goat. The one from downstairs.

I'm guessing this type of thing doesn't happen much at Cravath.

Consider yourself lucky. If you were at Cravath, it might have been a first year associate on that table instead of a goat. :)
